God this bike is a steal. If only I didn't already decide to go geared and leave fixed riding with my current bike. Wait, what? Jarrett's not going fixed anymore? Yea, I went on an 11 mile ride today to the Marina and back on the beast today after my midterm, which was super fun, but I think I could go so much faster with a geared bike. After the ride I wasn't tired or anything, it's just that riding fixed leaves a lot to be desired when going down hills. Everything else is significantly enhanced though. Maybe a touring/road frame made with a lighter material? Say a titanium bike? The other thing I was thinking was a 54 cm bike offa eBay whenever I get the funds with a Campy Record Double or Dura Ace Double. If I sell the beast, that means I could get it sooner. Though I would need all the gear for the new bike.

Whack. I should stick to riding fixed. Maybe getting brakes? (Oh noes!) We'll see. Oh yea the bike. Steal I tell ya, located nearby in Oakland, too. The Bay...they got's good taste.
About the bike, apparently "In 1984, Mark Gorski became the only American ever to win an Olympic gold medal in match sprint cycling. Comparing it to picture below, this bike looks like an exact replica of Gorski’s - with the exceptions of the different frame size and front wheel."
The more you know!
